Awakening Church Ministries facilitates the church planting, consulting and equipping ministry of Joseph Cartwright.
His passion is to see Christians meaningfully connect to Christ, the Church, and lost communities and cultures.
His belief is that a balanced Christian is in intimate relationship with Christ, functioning in their gifts and callings in the Church, and ministering with impact among lost communities of people.
His purpose is to awaken and equip people to walk this balanced life in Christ.
A Short Bio
Joseph has served the Lord in apostolic church planting, pastoral, and teaching ministry in Argentina, Canada and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
He graduated from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth with his Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages in Church Planting degree. He is the author of House Church Planting: Multiplying Colonies of Christ and Telling The Truth: Gleanings From A Serial Church Planter.
He currently serves as the executive director of Awakening Church Ministries, shepherd of Awakening - A Kingdom Community and on the apostolic team of City On A Hill Connection. He loves movies, U2, Louis Lamour westerns, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
